Be a part of our mission to deliver compassionate care and innovative solutions, as we strive to elevate the standard of health and wellness for all.Davie Medical Center offers a variety of anesthesia services, including but not limited to: Orthopedics, Total Joints, Neuro-Spine, Hand, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, And Gastroenterology.What You’ll Do:As a valued member of our healthcare team, the CRNA will play a key role in team-focused patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during Pediatric Procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Potential for and encouraged to precept Student Nurse Anesthetists – opportunity to mentor and assess these medical students.Uses medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan to ensure peri-operative and anesthesia care, being sensitive to co-morbidities and age & developmental guidelines.Collaborates with medical team when needed for effective team-based care; Uphold patient safety, drive quality improvement, and promote infection prevention within job responsibilities and initiatives.Document and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards, ensuring confidentiality.Maintain scheduling flexibility, readiness, and punctuality to deliver timely patient care.Exhibit professionalism through teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to ongoing professional developmentContribute to cost containment efforts by conserving resources.Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned.The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization (North Carolina Medical Board or North Carolina Board of Nursing) with departmental specific credentialing from the institution.CRNA Requirements:Graduation of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, Master’s Degree or Higher Required.Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing + Currently Certified or Recertified to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National BoardCurrent CPR Certification – ACLS, BLSAbility to demonstrate clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse clinical teams.When you join Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, you are welcomed into an inclusive culture that celebrates and respects the contributions a diverse team can make together.
