The Sr. Director of Strategy and Partnerships will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company’s strategic initiatives. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that align with our long-term goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful partnership development and execution.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning:Lead the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan.Identify and assess new business opportunities and markets.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.Mergers & AcquisitionDevelop strategic M&A framework for organizationSource and develop M&A / investment opportunitiesExecute M&A transactionsPartnership Development:Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships and alliances.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders.Create partnership models that drive value for both the company and its partners.Leadership and Team Management:Lead and mentor a team of strategy and partnership professionals.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.Performance Measurement:Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives and partnerships.Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on the progress of strategic initiatives.Innovation and Growth:Drive innovation by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and expansion.What does the ideal candidate bring to Fluence?Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of experience in strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, business development, or partnership management, preferably in renewable energyProven track record of successful strategic planning and partnership development.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to think strategically and analytically.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.At Fluence we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace; if you are excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply!Unlimited PTOMedical, Dental, Vision, Life and Pet InsuranceGenerous 401K MatchAnnual Bonus Incentive#energy #sustainability #inclusionmattersFollow Fluence on LinkedIn:
