Job Summary:

The Principal 3D Architectural Artist will be responsible for producing high-quality 3D renderings and visualizations for various architectural projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wireframe 3D modeling, virtual tours, photorealism, and post-production techniques. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to simulate real-life materials to achieve stunning visual representations.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed and accurate 3D models using wireframe 3D modeling techniques.

Develop and execute virtual tours to showcase architectural designs.

Apply textures and materials to 3D models to achieve photorealistic renderings.

Produce residential, commercial, civil & industrial 3D renderings, rendering styling, and post-production enhancements.

Utilize ray tracing techniques to achieve photorealism through reflection and lighting.

Simulate various real-life materials for accurate visual representation.

Conduct poly modeling, lighting, and level of detail adjustments for different project stages.

Generate grayscale renderings and other files for architects and designers to check project progress.

Create interior renderings, industrial visualizations, and high-resolution/low-resolution outputs.

Design and produce 3D flythroughs and walkthroughs, exterior visualizations, and dollhouse renderings.

Perform digital sculpting, community rendering, and computer-generated imagery (CGI).

Work with CAD and backplate images for enhanced visual context.

Develop architectural 3D models, animations, and amenities renderings.

Create aerial 3D renderings, 3D scenes, 3D models of scenes, and 3D floor plans.

Produce 360 panoramas for immersive virtual experiences.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, 3D Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

5+ years proven experience in 3D rendering and architectural visualization.

Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender, Lumion, Civil3D, Maya or similar.

Strong knowledge of rendering engines like Unreal, V-Ray, Corona Renderer, or similar.

Experience with photorealistic rendering and ray tracing techniques.

Excellent understanding of textures, lighting, and materials in 3D environments.

Ability to create high-quality virtual tours and walkthroughs.

Proficiency in post-production software such as Photoshop or After Effects.

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of 3D renderings and visualizations.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
