The Account Manager provides the highest level of customer service in servicing, supporting, and coordinating Clients’ accounts.Position responsibilities:
Services designated book of business as relating to marketing, claims, and administrationResponds to Client’s inquiries, maintains documentation of communications, existing issues, and issue resolutionsSupports implementation of new lines of coverage by setting up account, collecting needed documentation, and reviewing plan details with Client and CarrierEnsure accuracy of exposure information from the Client, including reviewing loss-run schedules and client stratificationsRequests and collects quotes (new and renewal) from carriersAudits quotes, binders, and endorsements and makes requests for changes as neededProcess audits and creates audit analysis for ClientReceives policy, then updates and completes policy check to ensure completenessUpdates specifications, application, and summary information to reflect changes during the yearMonitors receipt of quotes from carriers once submitted and negotiated by more senior staffBinds coverage under direction of the Unit Manager/Account ExecutiveInforms Client of all changes that may affect insurance premiums or coverageGathers and compiles information for new business opportunitiesInputs client information into the data management system, ensuring accuracy and completenessGenerates materials for Client presentations and meetingsCreates and sends compliance communications as neededEngages with Producer and Accounting Department to appropriately determine action plan and assist in collection efforts or billing discrepanciesPerforms other work-related duties as neededQualifications
Position qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalentTypically, two or more years of Client services experience is requiredDemonstrates strong working knowledge and experience within brokerage/commercial insurance industryStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)Strong attention to detail requiredAbility to attend industry training sessions as neededUnderstands industry trends and governmental regulationsReadiness to expand knowledge and effectiveness in the insurance industry by successful completion of extended insurance education beyond continuing education requirements as neededOrganizational and time management skills to prioritize heavy workloads to meet time-sensitive deadlinesAbility to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting the confidentiality of client and company informationMust have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, project team members, and associates at all levels of responsibility, representing Lockton in the highest professional mannerAbility to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night, as neededLegally able to work in the United StatesThis position may be eligible for annual discretionary bonus consideration.Equal Opportunity Statement
