Sign On BonusPaid Relocation AvailableJob Summary:This position is responsible for directing clinical quality and patient safety management programs including budgets, annual evaluations, consultation services, education initiatives, measurement of outcomes, and improvement strategies related to clinical, accreditation, regulatory and licensing (AR&L), risk management, and infection prevention and control. Responsibilities include establishing standards for evaluation, design, development, and implementation of evidence-based guidelines; directing the collection, analysis, reporting, and presentation of clinical data; developing strategies for education initiatives regarding quality improvement activities; and supporting the medical center's continuous survey readiness program to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Enhance compliance and patient safety by working with medical center leadership and front line staff.Prepare individuals for growth opportunities and advancement; build internal collaborative networks.Oversee the operation of multiple units within a department by identifying member and operational needs.Direct data collection and analyses to support quality improvement reporting.Direct quality improvement and improvement risk management efforts.Establish standards for quality improvement performance metrics development and utilization.Oversee the development and standards of quality improvement initiatives.Serve as the subject matter expert for quality improvement processes and regulations.Empower continuous learning in stakeholder development through quality performance review processes.Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:Minimum two (2) years of experience managing operational or project budgets.Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.Minimum two (2) years of experience with databases and spreadsheets or continuous quality improvement (CQI) tools.Minimum seven (7) years of experience in clinical setting, health care administration, or a directly related field.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field AND Minimum eight (8) years of experience in health care quality assurance/improvement or directly related field OR Minimum eleven (11) years of experience in health care quality assurance/improvement or a directly related field.Professional Healthcare Quality Certificate, Patient Safety Certificate, or Healthcare Risk Management Certificate within 24 months of hire.Additional Requirements:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Clinical Quality Expertise; Negotiation; Business Process Improvement; Risk Management; Compliance Management; Health Care Compliance; Health Care Policy; Applied Data Analysis; Health Care Data Analytics; Learning Measurement; Consulting; Managing Diverse Relationships; Delegation; Development Planning; Agile Methodologies; Process Mapping; Project Management; Risk Assessment; Health Care Quality Standards; Quality Improvement.Must Have:Experience leading a team; must have 5 years of leading direct reports.
