JOB SUMMARY

The role of Warehouse Associate is responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operation at the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor. Responsibilities include receiving, organizing, and preparing products for delivery. Other responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Adhere to all safety procedures and regulationsAttend warehouse department meetingsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentMaintain carpet and pallet displaysOversee maintenance of all warehouse racks and equipmentOperate standard office equipment - e.g., computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machinesOperate standard warehouse equipment - e.g., hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensersReceive, store, and stage materials, as directedRecord entries and produce documents to track and manage store inventoryReport damages and items in need of repair to the Warehouse SupervisorRetain positive working relationships with customersSweep, dust, and mop the facility, as neededSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
