Our clients are the most respected organizations in their industries – media and entertainment, research computing, bio-technology, higher education, and the Federal government.As the Starfish product manager, you will lead the definition and implementation of the industry-leading Starfish Storage unstructured data management platform.

Working with company founders, existing and potential customers, and the development teams, you will define features, manage priorities, and manage release schedules. The product consists of a REST API, CLI, and GUI interface that need to be managed as a single solution to help customers manage their data.Requirements

Qualified applicants must have:Excellent written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsFlexibilityBachelor’s degree is highly desiredCurrent authorization (or will soon be authorized) to work in the United States on a full-time basisVery strong client-facing skillsFluent in EnglishIndependent and self-directed, capable of balancing multiple clients' needs and schedulesAbility to take customer requirements and create user stories for developersFamiliarity with Agile developmentAbility to partner with the development teams to prioritize and define requirementsExperience as a storage software product managerDemonstrated hands on experience with research/enterprise storage systemsDemonstrated hands on experience with file systemsDemonstrated hands on experience with storage management softwareDesired Technical Skills

System administration skillsFamiliarity with common large-site storage systems such as Lustre, Isilon, GPFS, NetappUnderstanding / experience in research computingRequired Application Materials
