Cisco is looking for a Director of Product Management to lead a distributed team of product managers and business development professionals responsible for driving the go-to-market (GTM) and new services creation for global telcos of a $3B Routing & SDWAN portfolio.

The role requires excellent product management and business development skills with a deep understanding of go-to-market programs and service provider (SP) service creation for Networking and Security use-cases. The role also requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to work across the complex Cisco sales and marketing team arena to define and implement the right set of initiatives and programs to drive growth. The candidate will have an opportunity to drive for and will have ability to orchestrate geographically distributed teams towards a focused outcome.

Who You’ll Work WithYou will be collaborating closely with Product Management, Sales, Engineering and Marketing teams as well as directly with customers to identify opportunities for growth, define programs and services and achieve the desired business outcomes. We are a dynamic, fast-paced team and to be successful in the role, you will need to navigate and prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives and become comfortable with leading through ambiguity and shifting priorities. This high visibility role will reward the right leader with invaluable chances to create a significant impact on Cisco’s Routing and SDWAN business and Cisco at large.

What You’ll DoAs the leader of the SP Service Creation & GTM team, you will be spearheading various initiatives such as the development of installed-base refresh programs, upsell programs, new service creation & adoption programs and high-touch engagements with numerous channel and SP partners across the globe. You will kick start new initiatives, conceptualize complex topics into simple actionable plans and harness the collective power of the organization to achieve significant visible results.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and mentor team members to drive and build an outstanding go-to-market and SP Services creation team that works intimately with Cisco field, channel partners and MSP/Telcos that drives growth of the Routing and SDWAN business.Build comprehensive GTM plans including market positioning, messaging aligned with Cisco field and optimized for various routes-to-market.For Managed Service Providers (mostly telcos), define portfolio of Routing/SDWAN based services, including effective GTM plans, compelling Service Providers to expand their portfolio of Cisco based services.Collaborate with product management to align on features required by Service Providers to enable various managed services.Track and measure the efficiency of the various programs against KPIs. Continuously refine programs and strategies as needed.Assist sales and product management with respect to pricing and margin analysis for various deals.

Who You AreSolid understanding of Networking, Security and Managed Services technologies and use-cases and know what it takes to drive growth.Familiarity with the landscape of channel partners, value added resellers, distributors, managed service providers and telcos.Prior experience in a fast-paced networking and/or security heavy environment as a product manager with significant exposure to sales business development, marketing programs and more.Analytical skills with a creative mind, able to prioritize many projects, and manage expectations across multiple partners. You are open to traveling domestically and globally more than 30% of the year and working across multiple time-zones.

Minimum Qualifications7+ years of product management and business development leadership experience in the Networking and Security industry.Demonstrated ability working in the US leading a global team of product management & business development professionals.Bachelor’s plus 12 years or Master's plus 8 years of related experience.

Preferred QualificationsExperience spotting product led growth opportunities, passionate about go-to-market and business development for complex enterprise solutions & services.Experience interacting with executive/senior management and peers and serving as their go to thought partner.
