Local Media Sales Department at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a VP, Director of Sales to join our team!We seek a VP, Director of Sales with a proven winning track record of year-over-year revenue growth, a passion for innovation, a focus for client solutions and extensive client relations in Miami DMA.The VP, Director of Sales is responsible for generating new business, nurturing existing relationships with valued clients to drive revenue as well as develop Sales team members. Responsible to lead and exceed revenue and overall productivity and effectiveness of the Miami Media Sales Leadership and Team. This position will report to the President and General Manager of Miami.

ABOUT YOU:The candidate must establish strategic multi-media platforms (TV, Radio and Digital) demonstrating to clients and/or prospective clients that Univision’s properties are the premier connection between the client and Hispanic consumers. Understands and thrives in Digital Ad sales.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

You will develop strategies to achieve organizational goals and identify external threats and opportunities by analyzing market and competition.

Responsible for implementing strategic direction of Univision Sales teams and business development.

Responsible for stations’ annual Business Plan and its implementation; stations’ pricing, and inventory management.

You will determine sales priorities and works closely with Univision counterparts to maximize integrated revenue.

Build strong working relationships with clients and advertising agencies.

Must be able to work closely with all sales support departments/staff, must be creative, proactive, and use good judgment in making quick decisions.YOU HAVE:

College degree or equivalent sales experience

Prior experience as DOS/GSM or Senior Sales Manager is preferred.

Minimum of 5-10 years of successful sales management experience in a major market is required.

Thorough understanding of Nielsen, Miller Kaplan, Kantar, WideOrbit, Strata, Matrix and other relevant resources.

Extensive knowledge and relationships with LA advertising agencies and strong negotiating skills.

Must have excellent organizational, leadership, and analytical skills.

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
