Our ideal candidate has 1 year of public accounting experience in business and individual tax preparation, compilations, reviews, and accounting. We offer cutting-edge technology, competitive compensation and benefits, opportunities for professional development, and career advancement.Responsibilities:Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, C-corporations, S-corporations, trusts, personal property, and payroll.Provide QuickBooks support and training.Consult with clients daily.Assist with compliance and IRS notices.Conduct tax research on various topics.Participate in special projects such as strategic planning, exit planning, systems optimization, organizational design, budgets, and forecasts, etc.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA-eligible, or has a progressive plan toward passing the CPA exam in placePurusing CPA license or plan to1+ years public accounting experienceProficient in QuickBooks and MS ExcelStrong attention to detailExcellent oral and written communication skillsExceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects/clients and deadlinesDemonstrated leadership qualitiesAbility to take initiativeDoeren Mayhew is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
