Terch & Associates, on behalf of Security State Bank of Hibbing, is seeking a customer service and finance professional to serve as the Vice President/Senior Commercial Lender of the Bank. The top candidates for this role will be those with advanced and articulable commercial lending and policy development experience. They must oversee, develop, and manage a quality and diverse commercial loan portfolio, set the strategy, organize, and direct commercial lending functions of the organization, and lead the commercial lending team, including collaborating with team members to set and meet bank and individual professional growth goals, and mentoring. This position will also play a guiding role in ensuring that the Bank's customers have a high-quality customer experience. Manages all aspects of Bank's commercial lending portfolio, including analysis, development of growth strategies, new business development, profitability analysis and risk tolerance. Leads in planning business goals for the organization, particularly those relating to loan volume, type growth, delinquency ratio, profitability, and other revenue generating products and services. Develops new business according to individual goals for loan growth and fee income while meeting interest margin guidelines; explores alternative avenues (e.g., in person, relationship selling, digital, etc.) to originate loans and identifies innovative solutions to increase lead generation and marketing awareness of the Bank's product offerings. Maintains customer records in a manner that promotes effective and routine calling activity and minimizes risk; identifies and maintains information on top customers and referral sources. Generates loan volume and fee income according to annual budget. With each customer interaction in person and on the phone, seeks opportunities to deliver excellent customer service; troubleshoots and solves account problems; promotes all business account services; educates customers in using products to deepen relationships and satisfaction. Develops and implements systems, risk control, and policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements, Bank's policies, and targets. Actively participates in the professional growth of all staff in Commercial Lending, and actively creates an environment that promotes positive communication and teamwork, efficiency and productivity, strong internal communication, and compliance with Bank policies and procedures. Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required. Current registration under the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) preferred. Minimum ten years' experience in the banking industry; minimum six years' experience in commercial banking and lending. Experience in sales and new business development required. Experience in all aspects of lending, including regulatory compliance, required. Ability to successfully complete internal training programs around, and maintain ongoing education in: Bank operations, services and products; industry regulations; and policies and procedures. Ability to maintain proficiency in software relevant to job responsibilities. Must live in, or be willing to relocate into, the greater Hibbing area. About
