Director of MarketingPahrump Nugget, Gold Town & Lakeside (Pahrump, NV)Description:SummaryResponsible for the overall operational and strategic direction, administration and coordination of all activities within the Marketing department. Implement and execute marketing strategies for casino and non-casino related marketing. Ensure the operational effectiveness of various marketing programs involving brand strategy, positioning, customer relationship management, events and sponsorships.Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesHire, train, develop, measure performance, and discipline of assigned leadership staffOversee the execution of the division’s operational plans in the assigned areasMonitor and control labor costs by ensuring adequate coverage based on business demandsEnsure work performance standards, and employee development programs maximize the individual growth and development of staffImplement the Corporate marketing strategyMonitor competitive products, marketing activities and Players Club point structuresPrepare and deliver monthly budget reviewProvide direction for player invitational events including tournaments, special shows and other balanced event programming to optimize rated player participationCollaborate with Corporate marketing regarding events and promotions, and direct marketing arenasCoordinate cross-marketing initiatives with other sister properties and strategic partnersWork with Corporate Analytics team to evaluate trends and promotional results; use data to adjust future planning and eventsParticipate in planning of advertising and promotion activities including print, online, and direct mailEnsure a consistent Corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events on propertyMake decision and recommendation as to property-supported images and marketing strategies and campaignsWork collaboratively with property division heads to ensure the adherence of property branding guidelines and standardsEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsQualificationsMinimum five years’ experience performing same or similar job dutiesPrevious management experience required, including project management and marketing analyticsPrevious experience working with or in the gaming industry requiredMust have the ability to effectively organize materials, set priorities, and provide feedback or follow upMust have excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsPositive attitude with team building skills and ability to provide constructive feedbackProven experience providing high level of guest serviceComputer skills including Microsoft OfficeAbility to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system21 years or olderHigh School Education or EquivalentAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesWork CardsGaming RegistrationNye County LiquorDMV PrintoutDrivers LicensePhysical RequirementsOccasionally push/pull up to 35 lbs.Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 35 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levelsOccasionally squat, kneel, reach bend, and twistRegularly sit and work at a desk or computerRegularly stand and walk throughout the propertyConstant use of hearing and visionWork Environment Potential ConditionsIndoor & OutdoorSmoky & NoisyDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
