The Presales Solutions Specialist will work alongside Architects and Engineers as a security expert supporting account teams, customers, and go-to-market initiatives. The Solutions Specialist will take a consultative approach and lead discussions with clients regarding security platforms, understand how technology enables business, and recognize opportunities for the company. If you join our team, you’ll enjoy:Our commitment to diversity, as the largest minority- and woman-owned enterprise in the U.S.Continuous professional growth and leadership opportunities.Health, wellness, and financial benefits to offer peace of mind to you and your family.World-class facilities and the technology you need to thrive – in our offices or yours.ResponsibilitiesInclude but not limited to:Responsible for account retention and penetrating multiple lines of Cyber Security business in existing accounts by supporting the Account Executive with their customers' Security opportunities.Driving the security solution sales process, including qualifying the opportunity, forecasting, decision-making criteria, and closing.Learning company service offerings in all security service areas by self-study, acquiring certifications, partner training, and company-sponsored training.Ensuring that company-recommended enterprise solutions are comprehensive, achieve customer expectations, and meet customer business needs.Developing relationships with the Local Technology Community (MFGs and SI Partners), and the appropriate customer technical personnel to establish market credibility.Mentoring and guiding internal teams on the presales process and security solutions capabilities.Staying current on new technology, trends, and market behavior in the security space.QualificationsBachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required.2+ years of security-focused experience.Required SkillsAbility to speak to the different security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint, email, and identity with customers and identify customer security challenges to determine potential security solutions.Ability to work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.Excellent presentation skills.Receptive listening skills, with the ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.High-quality writing skills needed to produce reports, track metrics, manage projects, and create technical documentation.High-level reading comprehension used to examine manuals and technical reports.Certifications RequiredCandidate should have or will work towards certifications with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Mimecast, Okta, and others as needed for expertise around firewall/network security, endpoint, email, identity, and other security technologies.Business travel required up to 20%, for customer meetings, internal meetings or engagements, travel to customer or partner sites, conferences, and SHI offices.Additional InformationThe estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $170,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
