Specialist - Center for Excellence in Educator Effectiveness (CE3) (Grant Funded - TIA)Qualifications:PRIMARY PURPOSEProvide leadership, training, and technical assistance to local education agencies for the improvement of performance for all students. Assist educational personnel in the Region One ESC area to enhance educator effectiveness, increase student achievement, and support LEAs with the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA). Contribute to the development of systems and structures to improve instructional leadership and educator practice to ensure academic achievement, student growth, and college/career readiness for all students. Provide ongoing, job-embedded, personalized professional learning opportunities for teachers, leaders and educators that focus on high-quality, effective instructional practices.QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Certification:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership preferred.Valid Texas teacher certificate.Valid Principal/Mid-Management certificate preferred.Experience:Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in a K-12 setting.Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a K-12 campus, district and/or regional leadership experience in an educational setting.Minimum of two (2) years of leading and supporting Student Learning Objectives (SLOs) and/or other Student Growth Measures, preferred.Minimum of one (1) year of experience in working with the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), preferred.Special Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA).Knowledge and experience with educator effectiveness.Knowledge of state and federal accountability systems.Ability to utilize available data (STAAR, PEIMS, TAPR, etc.) to make informed programmatic decisions.Knowledge and experience in curriculum development and evaluation/assessment using pedagogical skills effectively.Knowledge and experience in instructional coaching and mentoring for district, campus, and classroom educators.Knowledge and experience in data utilization for system planning, campus improvement, classroom adjustments.Knowledge and experience in utilizing tools, such as Excel, Smartsheet’s, etc. for progress monitoring and interpreting data to support learner outcomes.Knowledge and experience in data analysis of educator evaluation and student growth measures.Knowledge and experience in utilizing a deep analysis of student work for progress monitoring.Knowledge and experience in leading and implementing effective professional learning communities campus/district.Knowledge and experience in research-based instructional practices that support educator effectiveness.Ability to utilize technology for teaching, learning and communication.Ability to function as a member of a team.Effective organizational and presentation skills focused on providing high-quality engaging technical assistance for internal/external stakeholders.Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills; Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.Other:Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Executive Director may find appropriate.Position is Grant Funded.Salary Range:

$69,793.00 - $96,380.00Benefits:
