The Brand Director, BSN is responsible for leading brand strategy and total brand P&L in order to meet short and long term brand and financial commitments. This role will set the brand's long term strategic roadmap and lead a team of direct reports and cross-functional partners to bring to life brand vision via messaging, portfolio strategy, innovation and renovation strategy. The Director is also responsible for continuously monitoring the performance of the business, communicating the financial outlook for the year, and adapting plans and actions as needed to ensure budgeted commitments are met or exceeded. To be successful in this role, it is necessary to have demonstrated strong strategic capabilities, the ability to understand and apply insights, the ability to assess performance, financial acumen and overall GM mindset.
Develop and implement three year strategy and identify in year strategic prioritiesCollaborate with key cross-functional partners to develop and implement the strategic roadmap inclusive of innovation strategy, promotion strategy, price pack architecture, RGM, IMP strategy.Continually analyze performance and market trends and optimize strategies, actions, and team priorities accordinglyResponsible for managing the P&L and delivery of annual financial commitments, communicating updates through the IBP process and off-cycle as neededCoordinate team to ensure key deliverables are provided on-time and on-briefAbility to adjust to changing priorities, deal with ambiguity and work with a variety of stakeholdersAbility to influence internal stakeholdersDemonstrate commitment to people development and coachingMinimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree requiredPeople management experience requiredMaster's degree or MBA preferred but not requiredFamiliarity with syndicated dataResults oriented with high level of initiative and assertivenessWe work at a fast-pace, and this role will require multi-threaded work streamsPassionate and knowledgeable about health & wellnessCommunicates effectively and builds relationships with internal/external stakeholdersStrong presentation skills and ability to persuade audiences (internal and external key stakeholders)Team player and ability to work well and build strong relationships with cross-functional teamsOrganized and responsive
