DEALERSHIP SERVICE MANAGERWe are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, results-driven Service Manager to lead our established service department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating a service team, ensuring the smooth operation of the service department, and implementing and achieving financial objectives.

Qualifications:

Prior Service Manager experience with proven record of success.

Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.

Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair process.

Proven skills to manage and motivate a team.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Must be eighteen or older with Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities:

Ensure an excellent customer experience throughout the service process.

Organize and coordinate the daily workflow of the service department.

Forecast goals and objectives for the service department.

Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of the service department staff.

Foster a positive and collaborative team environment with effective communication.

Develop marketing strategies to promote new and repeat business.

Adhere to safety protocols including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA regulations.

Monitor technicians’ daily work productivity and payroll record.

Maintain accurate records of repair orders, warranty submissions, and other customer information.

Establish solid working relationships with GM Factory Rep and other vendors.

Ensures the proper care, storage, and inventory of special tools.

Ensure that all customers are greeted and given fair estimates on costs and time.

Manages customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.

Establishes and maintains 24-hour follow-up with all customers to confirm satisfaction with the service experience.
