The Target Sales Manager is responsible for serving customers by planning and executing field marketing strategies and operations, improving systems and processes, and managing staff within an assigned territory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Generates leads each month to meet gross sales goals defined in the Thompson Creek Target Sales Budget.Drives marketing and brand recognition in local communities delivering marketing material as well as setting appointments direct to homeowners via canvassing; home shows; and retail partners.Ensures event/show booth standards are being met at all show/events, including design, development, build, and upkeep of the product displays.Ensure compliance, has clear understanding and proactive with permits and certifications needed to perform essential functions for the team.Manages all costs and expenses of home shows; retail partnerships; and staffing of Target Sales team in an assigned territory.Transports show and event materials in company issued vehicle and assist in management of vehicle's maintenance.Manages use of tracking software/application(s) and intake form and works each territory according to marketing guidelines.Strategically uses incentive programs within budget, and monitors achievement of these programs in order to generate urgency and meet business needs.Responsible for recruiting and retaining field staff in partnership with the recruiting team.Managing day to day activities and actively reports production of set appointments.Must provide on-going training in-field and classroom in partnership with the training team.Produces weekly and monthly reports to analyze departmental performance, recognize training opportunities; to effectively evaluate team efficiency.Manages and sets staff schedules; reviews daily time-keeping; and submits payroll hours with accuracy.Attends meetings to discuss strategy, plans, and results (ex. weekly Marketing Meeting, No Pitch Set Review, etc.) in accordance with forecasted goals and budgets.Analyzes geographic mapping data to access targeted areas for appointment setting and delivery of marketed materials for best results, in alignment with interdepartmental campaigns.Conducts performance reviews and provides feedback to ensure quality control and staff development.Manages inventory of supplies and uniforms needed for Target Sales team.Other Duties as assigned.SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education & Experience : Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Communications, or another related field. 5 years of relevant experience in a marketing environment. At least 3 years of previous supervisory experience; and any equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer Skills:

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Ability to develop advanced skills with SAP CRM.Licenses/Certifications

- Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate permits and certifications depending on territory. Must have a valid driver's license in good standing.Thompson Creek offers a generous benefits package including:

Pay: $65,000-$75,000 annually plus bonuses
