Our affiliate is currently seeking applications to become our next ReStore General Manager. The Habitat for Humanity ReStore generates revenue through the sale of donated building materials and household items to support HFHMC’s mission. The ReStore Manager is responsible for the overall management of the ReStore’s day-to-day operations, playing an active role in planning for the ReStore’s future, and for representing the ReStore at public and community events.
ResponsibilitiesOversee all retail operations while ensuring consistent and efficient operationsDesign strategy and set goals for growthSet priorities, policies, and processesEnsure ReStore is adequately staffed with employees and volunteersHire, train, and manage ReStore staffEnsure proper maintenance of facility, equipment, and vehiclesDevelop and maintain comprehensive operations manualEnsure compliance with safety standardsEnhance the organization’s culture by reinforcing core values and fostering a positive work environmentResearch and implement best practices in retail and merchandisingImplement and monitor financial controls and provide accurate accounting recordsDevelop marketing and advertising strategy for the ReStore that is integrated with the overall HFHMC strategyDevelop relationships with existing and potential donors to increase the quality and quantity of donationsProvide quality customer service and handle grievances professionally
