As the

Sr. Product Manager for PowerTrack APM Commissioning and Configuration , you will join Stem's product management team to:Own and extend the software product capabilities, both customer-facing and internal to Stem, related to (1) customer, site, portfolio, and hardware onboarding processes, (2) in-application configuration options such as modeling inputs, alert configuration, availability calculations, portfolio settings, custom KPIs and reporting, and (3) in-app help and interface with Stem teams (ticket tracking, etc.).Work with various functional stakeholders and SMEs on the development of customer-facing product documentation, new user onboarding/configuration training materials, in-app help content, and user guides.Collaborate with customers and internal teams executing commissioning, integration, and configuration support work to understand strengths and pain points in current processes.Work collaboratively with internal onboarding and customer-facing teams to ensure product commissioning and configuration features support accurate, efficient, predictable, and timely onboarding processes for APM customers.Drive continuous improvement in the product onboarding process through both internal and external-facing product features.Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to act as primary contributor to the product roadmap for product and feature delivery, internally developed or via partnerships, related to onboarding and commissioning workflows and configuration features for PowerTrack APM.Own and prioritize technical product backlog and collaborate with Stem's software development team to assess and address risks to ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery.Participate in agile processes and ceremonies within the software development team, and follow high standards for automation, quality, and transparency/observability.Collaborate with peers working on PowerTrack APM products to ensure alignment and compatibility across various modules and features.Work with internal teams to determine, advise, and productize best practices as they relate to customer, portfolio, site, hardware, and user onboarding to streamline user experience and improve efficiency and ease of use of product support.Work with product managers and product leaders to develop and maintain a compilation of high-quality product documentation to improve the "whole product" experience of PowerTrack APM software by our customers.Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the energy industry and conduct regular competitive market and capability assessments.Explore partnerships and procurement options to complement internal development activities for high impact, build vs partner vs buy decisions.Provide internal training and present to customers as needed as the subject matter expert on PowerTrack APM commissioning and onboarding workflows and configuration features.Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities and assist other teams in responding to RFIs (Request for Information).Analyze key performance indicators, report on these indicators at a regular cadence to the Manager of Product Management, Asset Performance Management.Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.Facilitate the creation and maintenance of high-quality product documentation.Foster a strong technical culture characterized by high-quality implementations, effective organizational communication, decisiveness and speed, constructive conflict resolution, and a can-do mentality.Establish effective and collaborative cross-functional working relationships with peers, developers, and operations/customer support teams.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:

8+ years' experience working as a Product Manager or leading software development teams in B2B SaaS, especially in workflow-driven, data-intensive applications.Demonstrated ability to document, implement, and manage complex workflows.Electric power industry domain experience with demonstrated understanding of the renewable energy industry and commissioning assets.Prior work with cross-functional product development teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, customer support, and operations. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.Experience in full life cycle agile engineering practices ranging from concept, design, development, and QA to continuous release and maintenance.Experience working in an Agile engineering organization.Experience defining business models and go-to-market strategies.Experience participating in and leading commercial discussions with customers' leadership teams.Power user of JIRA, Confluence.Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills, and able to present complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.Empathy: You are driven to uncover customer needs and pain points and are able to channel those insights into user-centric product development.Intellectually curious: You're interested in understanding and experimenting with new cutting-edge technologies.
