This position will primarily consist of design and construction engineering efforts on a variety of transportation projects for State, County, and Local Agencies. This team-oriented position will include working with Baxter & Woodman’s diverse disciplines and offices.What your day-to-day will look like, what you will learn on the jobDesign Roadway, Underground Utility, and Infrastructure improvements using Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads Designer.Conduct drainage, traffic, and various engineering studies.Complete general civil engineering services for municipal, county and state clients.Complete engineering plans and specifications using IDOT Standards.Process Federal Aid Phase I and II projects for a variety of clients.Assist with construction engineering services for municipal, county and state clients.Assist project engineers and managers with a wide variety of tasks required for project delivery.Education RequirementB.S. degree in Civil EngineeringMust-haves, what you will bringRelevant internship/co-op experience with municipal or highway agency transportation projects.Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman’s service area (own transportation).Ability to independently handle a variety of ongoing tasks and responsibilities.Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills.Work within a team-first culture that encourages individual development and accomplishment of goals.Preferred QualificationsAnticipated F.E. (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification.Knowledge of designing roadway and underground improvements with Civil3D or Bentley OpenRoads Designer.Experience with Geopak.Compensation

- The pay range for this role is $72,000 to $75,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications.You matter! Our outstanding benefits -
