QC Analytical Scientist

Job Description
This position will help identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput, and quality. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage own time and prioritize own workflow.
Responsible for maintaining laboratory compliance.
Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing (Appearance, pH, Conductivity, Concentration, etc).
Interpret and evaluate data in terms of accuracy, precision, trends, and potential Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) impact and recommend appropriate corrective action where necessary.
Aid as necessary to maintain the function of the QC lab, including ordering materials, inventory, general housekeeping, and other duties as necessary.
Operate with high regard for integrity and efficiency to generate accurate and quality results with a customer-focused mindset.
Utilize laboratory instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures, including but not limited to appearance hoods, pH meters, conductivity meters, Solo VPE, Osmometers, etc.
Qualifications:
BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceuticals, etc.).
At least 6 months experience in a QC Laboratory.
Successful hands-on analytical testing experience in a Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) environment.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of laboratory equipment, testing, and techniques.
Basic math skills and computer skills, such as data entry, along with a high level of attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task across projects and activities.
Must be self-motivated and work with minimal direction.
Ability to read, communicate understanding, and follow written procedures.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrate proficiency in computerized systems, such as Laboratory Information Management System.

Position is
Full Time
with the following available shifts: Sunday-Wednesday (every other Wednesday off) OR Wednesday-Saturday (every other Wednesday off);
ALL
shifts are 7am-7pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of
Sanford, NC
