Polk City United Methodist Church, in Polk City, IA, is a growing congregation, looking for a part-time Youth Group Director to help grow and foster the ministry of our youth. The Youth Group Director will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for young individuals, offering guidance and mentorship. This person will organize educational and recreational activities, and help lead fundraiser events for our youth. This role aims to empower youth, promote personal development, and foster positive relationships within the church and community.Key Responsibilities:
Develop, coordinate, and lead an engaging program focusing on faith development.Key advocate for our youth in our church and community, concentrating on nurturing their spiritual growth and discipleship.Promote youth involvement with the congregation and the community.Communicate clearly and effectively with youth, parents, volunteers, and church leaders.Plan and coordinate fundraising events to help support mission trips and the overall church's vision.Show financial responsibility in operating the youth group budget.Collaborate with volunteers and remain flexible with the needs of the youth, parents, and church.
