Programme Integration Manager

in our Business Development team to support our Next Generation Fuels programme. You’ll ensure that all internal functions are integrated and aligned to meet the strategic objectives of the Next Generation Fuels programme and successful delivery of new business opportunities and facilities at Capenhurst.This role will ideally be based at our Capenhurst site, but we also have a Head Office in Stoke Poges and both locations will be considered.What will your day look like?

Strategic & programme management:Integration of works streams and projects within the Next Generation Fuels programme to ensure that the strategic objectives of the programme are met.Support the Programme Sponsor in the establishment and management of programme management governance and processes.Act on behalf of the Programme Sponsor to ensure all relevant accountabilities are managed effectively and support decision making.Act as a source of expertise available to support and drive projects forward.Management of staff and contractor resources as and when required.Programme integration:Work closely with all internal stakeholders to ensure that all elements of the programme are integrated and aligned to delivery of the overarching business case and strategy.Early identification and resolution of cross-functional issues to ensure successful programme delivery.Support and coordinate activities required to support the Programme Sponsor, Project Managers or Site teams in the overall integration and delivery of the programme.Reporting & stakeholder management:Generation of key reporting relating to area of responsibility – including reporting for wide range of stakeholders (e.g. Excom, government).Work closely with Government Affairs and Commercial to manage customer, market and government relationships.Develop strong cross-functional relationships and teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusiveness and team-working across various areas and levels of the organisation.What do you need to be great at this role?

We believe that values and behaviours are just as important as professional experience, and encourage applications from a wider range of backgrounds.To be great at this role you will need:Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural team-working and collaboration skills.The ability to spot issues early and facilitate resolution of cross-functional issues.The ability to think strategically and ensure that the direction of.Degree-level education – equivalent experience of qualifications will be considered.Excellent presentation and communication skills.You will also have experience or knowledge in some or all of the following areas:Knowledge of programme and project management processes.Demonstrable strategic programme management experience coordinating a programme of works in the excess of £100m.Ability to generate performance reporting and tracking metrics.Knowledge of the nuclear fuel cycle processes.Knowledge of project management processes and metrics.Knowledge of UK nuclear regulatory regimes and requirements.Knowledge of safety case development and processes.You will also need:Fluent spoken and written English.Must be able to obtain the required level of security clearance.Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel).What can you expect from us?
