Position: Assistant Director for Lay FormationThe Assistant Director for Lay Formation develops and implements the overall vision of faith formation in the Diocese. Specifically, the Assistant Director will be responsible for:
Forming and recruiting new Master Catechists
Organizing the ongoing development of parish catechetical leadership
Creating and coordinating formation days, trainings, seminars, and workshops for:
Parish Catechetical Leaders
RCIA Coordinators
Confirmation Coordinators
Others involved in faith formation
The ideal candidate:
Is passionate about forming and accompanying missionary disciples through evangelizing catechesis
Has experience forming adults at the parish and/or diocesan level
Holds a Master's Degree in Theology, Pastoral Ministry or a related field
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, but not required
