We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursingprofessional with:Current valid California RN license, required.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing witha BSN or MSN degree, required.Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the AmericanHeart Association or American Red Cross required.Two years of direct patient care in an EmergencyDepartment setting required.Official Transcripts and/or original diplomafrom a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire.Clinical skills include patient assessment, IVstart, knowledge of medications, IV infusions, and airway management.Ability to provide appropriate care for highacuity patients such as stroke, STEMI, trauma, psych, and pediatricpopulations.Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventionson a consistent basis.Ability to perform historical, physical, and behavioralpatient assessments.Ability to develop, implement, and evaluatepatient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff.About UCLA Santa Monica:The Nethercutt Emergency Center is the cornerstone of UCLAHealth's Santa Monica Medical Center; a technologically advanced and welcoming281-bed, 4.5-acre, full-service medical campus.
