What We Look For...

We are in search of a smart, friendly, customer and team oriented Front Office Manager who will be responsible for supervising the daily of operations of the front office team to help maximize revenues, profits and professionalism, while providing an example of attaining optimal guest satisfaction.

The Key Responsibilities:

Be aware of projected occupancy, offered rates and demand in the area and schedule and staff appropriately.

Manage GSS scores and focus on meeting the property GSS score goals

High focus on positive guest experience, proactive service, memory making and "Surprise and Delight"

Focus on labor management and scheduling to the business levels

High focus on ongoing training that is aligned to a 4 star experience

Ensure that the rooms department team members are ready and implementing Legendary levels of service to all guests, engaging both staff and guests.

Monitor public facilities of the hotel, check bathrooms, hallways lobby and parking lot for cleanliness and appropriateness. Work with the housekeeping staff to make adjustments.

Walk property regularly to ensure all areas are correctly set and maintained for the guest, if items need attention ensure that corrective actions take place, work with other managers, supervisors and line staff.

Maintain a log to record issues and notes for supervisors and department managers to follow through during operations, disseminate information from logs to all department managers on a daily basis.

Handle guest problems/complaints, keeping DOO informed or deferring guests to DOO/ or GM for handling.

Be knowledgeable of all duties performed by the Front Desk Agents, Reservations Agent, Bellmen, Front Desk Supervisors, Night Auditors including computer and cashier systems, as well as the reservations system including room rates and types of accommodations.

Cover desk, supervisor's responsibility when supervisors take breaks.

Monitor and maintain all hotel guest programs, i.e., Guest Courtesy Calls, Surprise and Delight etc.; assist in creating other hotel promotions.

Responsibility to include employee payroll, missed punches and signing off on scheduled hours every 2 weeks

Mentoring and creating succession plans for positions

The Model Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business or higher preferred.

Previous front desk, reservations, and/or hospitality experience.

Previous managerial experience.
