Sikla USA Inc.
VC Analyst/Associate Runa Capital
Sikla USA Inc., Palo Alto, California, United States, 94306
We are looking for a self-driven, curious and fast-learning person who will join our team in San Francisco/Palo Alto (Hybrid). It’s a great opportunity for those who have a passion for technology and are looking to get their start as a VC.
Runa Capital
Our best early-stage investments became companies like Mambu ($5.5B last round valuation), Zopa ($1B), Nginx ($0.7B, exit), Ecwid ($0.7B, exit), Pasqal, Lendio, and Brainly. Since the founding of Runa in 2010, we have invested in 100+ startups, had 30+ exits, and have all built our careers as investors with the goal of helping founders build exceptional startups.
We are open-minded, entrepreneurial, and tech-savvy. Runa’s General Partners have built a few global tech companies (Acronis, Parallels, Acumatica, Octane, etc.), and inside Runa, we love to build technology to help improve our investing process. For instance, our team created its own data platform, a popular repo (14K+ Github stars), and publishes an index of open-source startups.
Runa attracts self-driven people and provides them with learning opportunities, relevant resources, and a high level of freedom. This approach has a long history of teaching analysts or associates the fundamentals of Venture Capital. Three of Runa’s former associates are now General Partners at Runa(Dmitry, Konstantin, Michael); Two are Partners at other VC funds in London (Atomico, Begin Capital); Two have founded their own VC firms in Silicon Valley (1confirmation, Day One Ventures).
