Marketing Coordinator The Strat (Las Vegas, NV)
Description:
Summary:Responsible for coordinating the workflow of marketing projects between, Property Marketing, Special Events and Operations teams. Assists the Marketing Manager and Director in operational plans for projects and promotions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Open Marketing Projects using project management software in a timely and efficient manner, utilizing established process and procedures to input and monitor projects throughout their lifespan
Assist with special events, PR and Social Media visits, and related property activations as scheduled
Maintain signage and related marketing inventory
Adhere to strict milestones, schedules, and deadlines
Multi-task with a fast-paced high volume and wide variety of marketing projects
Act as liaison with designated Operations teams, becoming familiar with their specific functions within the property
Schedule the installation and removal of time-sensitive marketing materials, both traditional and digital
Attend regularly scheduled marketing meetings, and follow up with action items
Input Purchase Requests, Work Orders,
Order/maintain office supplies for property marketing team
Coordinate storage of marketing materials inventory
Promote The STRAT in a positive, professional manner
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications
Two or more years of proven success within a similar role involving casino and hospitality marketing
Familiarity with production and development of advertising and marketing materials such as: Signage, Collateral, Digital Media, Social Media, Public Relations, Internet, and Website
Strong PC computer skills, with working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
Willingness to work varying hours and days as needed
Familiarity with Workamajig, SignageLive, RedRock preferred
Detail focused
Excellent spelling, grammar, editing and written/verbal communication skills
An ability to work well with others and diplomacy are important in dealing with operations teams
Ability to communicate thoughts effectively in one-on-one and small group situations. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
High school diploma or equivalent
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
Verify right to work in the United States
