Halvik Corp is seeking a Department of Defense Account Manager, a role uniquely positioned in the organization focused on strategy, growth, and customer relations. The position works closely with operations teams serving customers to maximize the company's contribution to their mission and on-going understanding of requirements, relationships, and opportunities.

Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring excellence in delivery of full life cycle business development activities, including strategic planning, management of bid and proposal resources, target identification, capture strategies, proposal management, contract award, and customer relations.

The Account Manager works in close coordination with operations and sales professionals within HALVIK and with partner companies to ensure best of breed solutions are presented to customers. The Account Manager provides additional expertise in other new business matters including: strategic planning, competitive intelligence and market analysis. The Account Manager will develop and build client relationships in order to grow current and new business. The Account Manager will have strong business acumen and strategic thinking required.

Specific Duties:

Meet and maintain liaison with government officials in federal market.Target, qualify, and capture new business opportunities.Provide business process reviews and analysisDevelop, maintain, and report on account strategies for multiple customer segmentsGrow HALVIK's DoD accountRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelors Degree or higher in business, marketing, engineering or technical discipline and a minimum of 5 years experience in managing and leading programs.

Additional Requirements:

Possession of an ACTIVE SECRET or higher security clearance is required to begin employment; US Citizenship is required.Ability to travel up to 50% or less.Must have a thorough knowledge of military operations and organizations and a thorough understanding of DoD programs. Senior Service College graduate preferred.Must have proven track record in capturing programs and developing winning proposals and managing proposal activities.Must have demonstrated capability for oral and written communication with all levels of company and customer management.Excellent analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.Must have the ability to gain internal support and to operate independently without supervision.Must have the ability to establish a solid working relationship with customers, technical staff, managers and peers.Business development experience.Senior leadership experience.Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Preferred:

A strong preference for an MBA or advanced degree in engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
