The Senior Manager, Brand Strategy, will be responsible for leading the development of brand strategies for multiple BSE Global properties, with goals focused on driving brand awareness, engagement, and sentiment. This role will focus on leveraging data and analytics, consumer profiles and trends to enhance our brand storytelling across the BSE portfolio. The ideal candidate will dive deep into research and uncover the insights that will inspire creative thinking and strengthen our collective business strategies.

The Senior Manager will serve as a thought partner across the organization, working with senior leaders to leverage brand strategy to fuel the achievement of their business objectives. The position will collaborate on building net new brands & products (naming, tagline development, identity work, etc.) and working on existing brands & campaigns to further strengthen brand affinity and impact with the end consumer. The individual will be a creative and data-first strategist and storyteller, who loves the art of the pitch.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:Lead the end-to-end brand strategy process, inclusive of: brand identity development, naming, taglines, brand campaigns, messaging guides, and brand booksPartner with Data, Analytics & Insights team to oversee research and extract consumer insights that will support campaign strategy, audience segmentation, personas and the development of target audiencesSupport the creative development process, from the crafting of compelling creative briefs, to translating business goals into tangible brand attributes, to collaborating with the Marketing leaders to translate briefs to concepts, creative, campaigns & style guidesCollaborate with Marketing Managers on monthly reporting documents, trend forecasting white papers, brand health tracking and campaign/activation recapsSteward the creation of brand books and positioning documents, outlining brand values, mission, unique selling points, voice and tone for brands within the ecosystemAlign with Marketing leaders (i.e. Creative, Operations, Consumer, Content, Merchandise, Game Presentation) on an on-going basis to ensure brand strategies are maintained and optimized as needed throughout the life cycle of a project/campaignLead meetings, deliver compelling pitches and galvanize internal buy-in that inspires action across the Marketing team and broader organizationWHAT YOU WILL BRING:

5+ years of experience working as a brand strategist at agencies and/or at brandsClear understanding of marketing principles, tactics and best practicesExpertise navigating research, consumer insights and audience segmentation workSkilled at utilizing data to influence decision-making and solving problemsExperience writing, delivering and ingesting creative briefs and leveraging them to facilitate the creative development processA problem-solving guru, skilled at uncovering innovative solutions to complex problems and pivoting with agility as projects/circumstances evolveAn entrepreneurial spirit and inquisitive mind, with deep attention to detailAn excellent written and verbal communicator, confident leading presentationsComfortable managing multiple projects, in a high volume, fast-paced environmentKeen understanding of cross-functional collaboration best practices and project management principlesAbility to inspire and empowers others to do their best work, leading with core values of integrity, accountability, care, and a growth mindsetA passion for sports, music, food, fashion and the arts if preferredProficient in Microsoft 365 - Word, PowerPoint and ExcelBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Brand Marketing and/or Strategy, Advertising, Sports Marketing, or another applicable degree.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Infrequent Traveler (10 -20% travel): The incumbent may be required to travel within the New York City area. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.

SALARY RANGE:

$90,000-$120,000
