Vice PresidentThe OpportunityThe Project Manager will oversee multiple construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Throughout these 90 days, it’s crucial to maintain regular feedback sessions with your supervisor and team to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and to adjust objectives as necessary.First 30-DaysAcademic and Professional Proficiency:

Complete orientation on company standards, project management tools, and current project status. Review all ongoing projects to understand the scope and critical milestones.Communication and Documentation:

Begin using Microsoft Office Suite for project documentation. Establish communication channels with key stakeholders and project teams.Technical Software Proficiency:

Undergo training in estimating software like Bluebeam and Onscreen Takeoff. Review existing project estimates to understand baseline assumptions.Up to 60-DaysTechnical Application and Compliance:

Apply construction knowledge to actively supervise project sites. Ensure compliance with building codes by collaborating with the compliance team.Technical Software Proficiency:

Use estimating software to revise or create new project estimates. Train team members on the effective use of these tools.First 90-DaysCommunication and Documentation:

Establish regular update meetings and reporting cycles with project stakeholders. Enhance documentation protocols for improved tracking and accountability.Supervisory and Leadership Excellence:

Evaluate the effectiveness of initial coaching and development plans. Adjust management strategies based on team feedback and project requirements.
