to join our team!What You'll Be Doing:Support the system administration for ARL computers installed in FY20Support design of Army Research Laboratory A2I2 building for systems being delivered in 2024 and future platformsProvide advice for persistent services to support diverse high performance computing (HPC) software stacks, especially AI/ML, for example, using KubeflowAdvise in architectural tradeoffs including NVidia Grace/Hopper, ARM, and new file systemsIdentify open source software tools and stacks for customer-specific and production platformsDevelop and implement software instrumentation to measure and visualize the performance of various systems, sub-systems, and user jobsServe as a subject matter expert to HPC program system administration team for research, development, and production HPC systemWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Extensive background in diverse Linux operating systems and high performance computingExtensive background in Linux tools, performance tuning, instrumentationExtensive background in Linux container architecturesOpen-source software tools, software stacks, and standardsAbility to manage a team of system administrators across a wide range of platforms and requirementsWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Awareness of emerging hardware/software and their capabilitiesAbility to translate customers’ needs into hardware and software solutionsAbility to integrate new capabilities into existing HPC systemsAbility to standardize software stacks to reduce complexity and cost of supportEducation and Experience:BS or MS degree in computer science or engineeringAt least 5 years of directly related experienceLinux+ certificationSecurity+ certificationMinimum Clearance Required to Start:
