The Oracle DBA - PL/SQL is responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases, including writing and optimizing PL/SQL code. This role involves ensuring the performance, security, and availability of databases, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise.Responsibilities and Duties:
Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database softwareDesign and implement database structures and objectsDevelop and optimize PL/SQL code for database applicationsMonitor database performance and tune for optimizationBackup and restore databases as neededImplement security measures to protect dataTroubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely mannerCollaborate with developers and other team members to support database-related projectsStay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in Oracle database administrationQualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldProven experience as an Oracle DBA with expertise in PL/SQL developmentStrong understanding of database management and performance tuningExperience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and Exadata is a plusKnowledge of database security best practicesExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentOracle certification is preferred but not requiredJob Type:
