We have high standards in our work product and for the support we provide.How to be Successful in this Role:We are looking for an attorney with significant expertise in a wide variety of commercial property transactions, with the ability to independently provide advice and draft documents necessary to protect the County’s interest and shepherd multiple transactions. As you will be providing advice to policymakers regarding high value or controversial matters, discretion and diplomacy are essential skills.You will perform duties with professional discretion and within office guidelines, professional ethics and standards, and legal requirements. The ability to handle high volume caseload, work under pressure with tight timelines is essential and the ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues in a collaborative work environment.Your Future in this Role:This is a great opportunity to give back to the community in which you live and help make Pierce County a great place to live, work, and raise a family.Core Daily Responsibilities:Provides Pierce County legal representation in connection with real property transactions.Analyzes and prepares documents for the County’s commercial real estate transactions.Participates in legal negotiations.Advises and represents the Facilities Management Department and other county officials as assigned.Minimum Requirements:County Attorney 3:

Must be admitted as an attorney in the State of Washington (RCW 36.27.010) and a U.S. Citizen (RCW 36.27.010, RCW 36.27.040, and RCW 29).County Attorney 4:

Must be admitted as an attorney in the State of Washington (RCW 36.27.010) and a U.S. Citizen (RCW 36.27.010, RCW 36.27.040, and RCW 29).Preferred Requirements:

Experience in land use law preferred, but not required.Special Requirements:
