We are convenient to Baltimore, Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and the Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg Pennsylvania areas. Most jobs are convenient to the beltways and Rice Tire is a well-known company in the tire industry, established in the area for over 60 years! We offer a range of services, including tire sales, installation, repair, and maintenance for both consumer and commercial applications.
We are looking for a Commercial Tire Outside Salesperson who can travel to local customer sites, represent the companyprofessionally, and sell our products and services to meet established sales and gross profit goals.

Commercial Tire Outside Salesperson

What you will be doing:
Actively seek and develop new customer accounts.
Selling new and retread commercial truck tires and mechanical services to customers
Work with Corporate Sales Manager to set up fleet evaluations providing customers with cost analysis proposals.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
Meet sales goals set by Corporate Sales Manager
Delivering tires to customers as needed
Schedule: Flexible
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience preferred in an outside sales role selling to fleets, contractors, equipment rental companies, or national accounts.Self-motivated with excellent communication skillsMust be willing to take initiative, work without direct supervision and deliver results.Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordAbility to lift consistently between 75 and 100 pounds.Desired Qualifications:Experience with tire sales is preferred.Safety conscious, respectful, honest, strong work ethic, and enjoys being part of a team.Knowledge of various tire brands, types, and sizesPay Range: Uncapped Commission w/top pay potential in the industry!Soft Skills for Outside Commercial Sales:
In addition to technical skills, Alignment Technicians should possess certain soft skills, including:
