Senior UX Engineer
to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.About the role:As a
Senior UX Engineer , you will be part of the team building a data focused product that is built on best of breed open source solutions like Kafka, Trino, DuckDB, and Superset. You will primarily work on front-end features that make interacting with data easier, enabling users to be able to tell a data story through our product.What we are looking for:6+ years of hands-on experience building visually pleasing front-end applications in HTML/CSS, React, Angular, Vue or other frameworks/librariesMust have expertise in MUI, D3.js, Deck.gl , and other librariesDeep understanding of UX best practices to create useful, usable, and aesthetically pleasing softwareKnowledge of accessibility standards and developing 508-compliant softwareUnderstanding of responsive design principles, and experience developing responsive software applicationsExperience with building and releasing software in cloud-native environmentsExperience using a variety of package managers/dependency managers including Maven, Gradle, and NPMExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience collaborating with a designer using design software such as FigmaSTEM Background or relevant industry experienceObtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with RaftHighly preferred:Experience with building map-based UIsFamiliarity with Kafka concepts and integration techniques for handling and processing streaming data efficiently in front-end applications, especially within event-driven architectures and microservices environmentsExperience in a backend language like Java, Python, Ruby, Go, RustUX certifications or courses takenClearance Requirements:Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearanceWork Type:Remote (Local to Tampa, FL preferred)May require up to 25% travelSalary Range :$110,000 - $200,000The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilitiesWhat we will offer you:Highly competitive salaryFully covered healthcare, dental, and vision coverage401(k) and company matchTake as you need PTO + 11 paid holidaysMonthly box of yummy snacks to eat while doing meaningful workRemote, hybrid, and flexible work optionsAnd More!Our Vision Statement:We bridge the gap between humans and data through radical transparency and our obsession with the mission.Our Customer Obsession:We will approach every deliverable like it's a product.
