Plans and implements Occupational Therapy programs for patients and participates in department programs by performing the following duties.Job Description:EDUCATIONEquivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.Bachelor's: Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association with a B.S. or B.A. or equivalent education/experience.CERTIFICATION & LICENSUREBLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:Experience with physical rehabilitation, either through educational affiliations or prior work association is preferred.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE- Language skills – ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, customers and the general public.- Mathematical skills – ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.- Ability to compute ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.- Reasoning – ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.- Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.).- Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.Job Shift:

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
