Northrop Grumman is seeking a sr principal software development analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing in S/4 HANA, CDS views, ODATA services, SAP Gateway, and Virtual Data Models.

Develop data models in SAP HANA using Attribute View, Analytic View, and Calculation View, SAP HANA Programming including SQL, SQL Script, Variables, and Input Parameters.

Create Analytical queries (with layers of CDS views) and expose models to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), HANA, etc.

Ability to include non-SAP data into overall product using RFCs, BAPIs, Proxy, ALE/IDOC, ODATA, and Web Services.

Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues as well as performance tuning of CDS and HANA solutions.

Design, develop, and implement complex ABAP programs and functionalities to enhance and extend SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

Maintain proficiency with the latest SAP S/4 HANA and related technology, best practices, and trends.

Ability to quickly develop proof of concepts with new technology or ideas and demo successfully.

Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define project scope, and translate functional requirements into technical specifications for SAP S/4 HANA.

Interact with customers and internal partners through face to face/ virtual meetings, phone calls, emails, and other media.

Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will be able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as analytical skills.

Basic Qualifications

BS Degree and 9 years of industry experience is required for this role. (An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.)

Ability to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs.

Experience in SAP HANA Modeling with HANA Studio, Native HANA with SDA/SDI

Strong understanding of ABAP programming language.

Experience in developing and maintaining SAP CDS Data models, SAP HANA CVG and ABAP.

Experience with interface technologies – BAPIs, Proxy, ALE/IDOC, ODATA and Web Services.

Experience in SQL and Analytical Query Development.

Ability to leverage database systems including SAP, Oracle, Costpoint and other data warehouses to develop enterprise data models required by the business for financial and operational analysis and/or reporting.

Ability to brief and discuss technology concepts for all audience levels.

Have at least one SAP functional expertise in Business Management, Manufacturing and Logistics or Supply Chain.

Demonstrated ability of understanding and implementing new technology.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with product owners.

Preferred Qualifications

Proficient with SAP S/4 configuration and business processes.

Experience developing highly effective materials and work products (Powerpoint Slides, Enterprise Analytical Solutions, etc.).

Proficient in object-oriented programming (OOP), REST APIs and SAP Fiori/UI5 development.

Proficient with cutting edge cloud technologies leveraging open standards to build out the platform and its applications.

Proficient in R Scripting and DAX coding.

Experience in BTP and Cloud integration.

Experience in Predictive Analytics/AI.

Salary Range:

$121,000 - $181,400
