OverviewAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Hematology/Oncology Physicians to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the VA Western New York Healthcare System located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers’ success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesProvide expert consultation and treatment to patients in the outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic; as well as provide feedback and consultation with the other services within the Buffalo VA.The Physician will evaluate, triage, and prioritize requests from Primary Care providers and others for outpatient Hematology/Oncology subspecialty consultations.They will obtain medical histories, conduct physical examinations, order and evaluate appropriate laboratory testing, and plan and prescribe treatment for patients.The Hematologist/Oncologist will coordinate medical management and care with Primary Care providers and other medical personnel in multidisciplinary health care delivery system.Provide Hematology/Oncology on-call services as assigned.QualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Osteopathic MedicineActive, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of ColumbiaNPI report printoutActive DEA licenseMust be able to pass a federal background investigationAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
