The job of the

parts customer service representative

exists to interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about company products and services; provides administrative support to the parts manager/department; additionally assists in other miscellaneous duties/projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESHandle all customer concerns and questions in a timely and professional mannerAnswer all customers questions or concerns via email, fax, or by phoneEnsure to take accurate notes for all customer information and specifications regarding the type of service or product requestedResponsible to keep track of inventory knowledge to ensure accurate information is received by customerData entry; input sales order into software and print all required documentationConduct walk-in estimates for quotes requested on behalf of customersOccasionally drive out to client locations for delivery of goods or servicesFollow up on shipments in transit and retrieve ETA information to customersWrite up invoice credit requisitionsCreate warranty orders for customersInteract with customers face-to-face on an appointment or walk-in basisOther miscellaneous projects/duties as assignedWORK ENVIRONMENTOffice settingFrequent use of computerSitting for long periodsOccasionally drive company vehicleSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTSEducation:

High School Diploma or GEDComputer Skills:

MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and MAS200, Data entryTechnical Skills:

Typing speed of 45 wpm, proficient in MS Excel and MAS200Industry-Specific Knowledge:

Parts automotive aftermarketPreferred:

Ensure to take accurate notes for all customer information and specifications regarding the type of service or product requested

Responsible to keep track of inventory knowledge to ensure accurate information is received by customer

Data entry; input sales order into software and print all required documentation

Conduct walk-in estimates for quotes requested on behalf of customers

Occasionally drive out to client locations for delivery of goods or services

Follow up on shipments in transit and retrieve ETA information to customers

Write up invoice credit requisitions

Create warranty orders for customers

Interact with customers face-to-face on an appointment or walk-in basis

Other miscellaneous projects/duties as assigned

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTSEducation:

High School Diploma or GED

Prior Experience:

Customer service representative

Computer Skills:

MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and MAS200, Data entry

Technical Skills:

Typing speed of 45 wpm, proficient in MS Excel and MAS200

Industry-Specific Knowledge:

Parts automotive aftermarket

Preferred:

Bilingual, English and Spanish
