Senior Commercial Development Manager
position!

Job Description
Over the next seven years, PSE must acquire new renewable and non-emitting resources of approximately 6,700MW to comply with Washington State's Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA). This effectively doubles PSE'scurrent owned and contracted generating capacity and is more than PSE has acquired in its 150-year history.
This position leads and coordinates all aspects of resource acquisitions of utility-scale energy generation andstorage resources within the business initiatives group. This includes owning financial results, running stakeholdermeetings, and creating management presentations.
Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to workresponsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.
This job is considered "safety sensitive" as defined in RCW 49.44.240 and is subject to pre-employment drug screening that includes screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites.
Job Responsibilities
Lead strategy development and implementation plans for presentation to senior management for recommended resource acquisitions (including, but not limited to, wind, solar, hydroelectric, energy storage, biodiesel, and other dispatchable resources,).Leads implementation of project plans across multi-disciplinary project teams; includes creating and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and action items.Conducts or manages business, operational, financial, and policy level analyses needed to evaluate potentialprojects while considering PSE's current position and how best to maximize the value of current energyresource assets. Work includes analysis to quantify the impact of prospective State or Federal policy changes.Leads external representative(s) on assigned projects, including identifying, negotiating, and managing partner relationships and commercial contracts.Collaborates with long-term resource and planning groups inside PSE to review asset acquisitions. Analytic techniques include net present value, discounted cash flow, Monte Carlo simulations, and portfolio optimization, Performs other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, economics, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience5 years relevant work experience, including 3 years asset development and acquisition experienceExperience in the utility, oil, gas or independent power sector and experience in project development or commercial acquisitionsKnowledge of financial and accounting principlesStrong problem solving and conflict resolution skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to interact with all levels of an organizationDesired Qualifications
Master's degree in finance, economics, business, or related fieldKnowledge of project management principles, processes and techniques applied in a utility settingKnowledge of utility regulatory and accounting practices

The pay range for this position is $88,000.00 - $146,500.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
