Leidos is looking for a Sr. Telephony Requirements Officer to be a part of a dynamic team supporting mission critical communications services. The Requirements Officer will facilitate user requests for telephony accounts from stakeholders across the organization and world-wide. The Requirements Officer will serve as the primary interface to the customers, collecting the requirement details. Daily responsibilities include collecting requirements, creating, modifying and closing telephony accounts and recording account details in customer-specific databases and systems. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate data entry and documentation. The Telephony Requirements Officer must possess sound operational knowledge and be experienced with domestic and overseas operational environments. You will work in team environment and must be capable of operating independently with minimal supervision. The Requirements Officer is expected to effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the customer organization.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interface with users via customer requirements database and capture users' operational requirements.
  • Create and maintain standard operational procedures (SOPs) for telephony related services.
  • Maintain customer databases, validate accuracy of database entries, resolve data entry errors and generate appropriate metrics.
  • Independently perform data entry and searches against customer proprietary tools and applications.
  • Anticipate potential problems, identify risks, and plan for contingencies.
  • Independently work multiple issues simultaneously while meeting specific time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Read, respond and create customer communications without errors in a timely manner.
  • Verify phone line service requests are complete, accurate, and satisfy customer requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal resources, external teams and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related technical discipline. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry with an understanding of telecommunication phone circuits and internet capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Experience in customer's operational environment.
  • Experience with data entry using front-end user interface applications and databases (i.e. Oracle).
  • Must have experience developing and maintaining SOPs.
  • Motivated self-starter, able to lead initiatives as well as contribute as a team member.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately follow policies and specific procedures.
  • Must possess exceptional customer service and communication skills (both verbally and in writing). Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, team members at all levels and senior management.
  • Experience writing and coordinating official correspondence using customer messaging systems.
  • Working knowledge writing Boolean search queries against customer messaging systems.
  • Must have experience with office systems like Outlook, MS Office, Skype, Lotus Notes, and Remedy.

Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
