Pre-Sales Solution Architect - ARM Endpoint Programs
Overview

The ARM Endpoint Programs Solutions Architect (SA) is responsible for ensuring the best possible outcomes for current and future customers of Insight's endpoint offerings and programs. With a focus on driving awareness and adoption of the next generation of Windows ARM devices, the Solution Architect also promotes and influences the design, sale, and delivery of Insight's comprehensive portfolio of endpoint services.

The Solution Architect is a technical, customer-facing role that is critical to a successful end-to-end customer experience. Working alongside sales and delivery teams, Solution Architects own the technical engagement during discovery, scoping, design, and proposal phases.

The ideal candidate is an experienced and passionate technical professional, who thrives when helping customers solve their problems and achieve their goals. You will have deep expertise in enterprise (end user) endpoint environments, and a keen interest in the future of ARM devices, AI PC technology, and the IT services needed to deliver them. You can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, and maintain a strong sales acumen.
What you'll do at Insight:

  • Provide a world-class pre-sales experience, helping customers achieve superior outcomes by understanding their needs, and building impactful solutions that meet and exceed them.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of AI PC and ARM technology, enabling the sales and delivery teams, as well as customers, to benefit from your expertise.
  • Identify opportunities for adoption of the latest Windows AI PCs and ARM devices, including facilitating workshops and webinars for our customers to understand the benefits and applications of these technologies.
  • Orchestrate multi-modal solutions with Solutions Architects from other business lines.
  • Support the development and speed of the sales cycle.
  • Promote, participate, and lead industry events and exhibitions hosted by Insight or its partners.
  • Maintain and expand your strong sales acumen, as well as technical and consultative skillsets.
  • Prepare and deliver training to the Insight sales teams on the latest solutions.
What you'll need to join Insight:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales and/or consulting roles.
  • Deep understanding of endpoint computing technologies and trends, especially Windows, and Windows Management and deployment technologies.
  • Intermediate knowledge of modern supply chain and logistics principles.
  • Experience with complex, multi-service-line programs, and related financial modeling.
  • Ability to drive collaborative decision-making and execute plans effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience engaging with senior executives and IT leaders.
  • Comfort presenting to both large and small audiences.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technology.

Insight is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by law.
