Job Description: Director of EstimatingSalary: $100,000 - $150,000Location: Paola, KSIndustry: Structural Steel FabricationCore Function:To manage the estimating team and ensure complete accurate bid proposals and scope analysis for potential projects.The Client:Our client is a leading AISC steel fabricator and erector across the Midwest and has been operating since the mid-1900s.Responsibilities:Manage the review of drawings, specifications, and other documents to successfully bid jobs at a profit for fabrication and erection when indicated.Work with the Project Management team following a successful bid to ensure an accurate transfer of information and defining of scope, including revisions, additions, and deletions.Present bids in their entirety at job kickoff meetings.Continue to work with Project Management on pricing issues pertaining to the bid or to revisions.Requirements:Strong management experience is essential.Understand shop detail drawings, erection plans, and construction specifications.Understand construction concepts and methods.Proficiency with Tekla EPM / PowerFab.Apply NOW!If you're an experienced Sales and Marketing Coordinator, apply directly through this advertisement, or send an up-to-date resume.
