Coordinates the overall operation of the Pharmacy Technicians, including staffing and work assignments of the technicians. Serves as the liaison between the department and staff, Information Systems, physicians, patients, family and other site staff. Performs pharmaceutical procedures for medication preparation and distribution that ensures safe, effective, and cost efficient medication therapy. Exercises sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to provide pharmaceutical support to the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or teaching duties.EDUCATION:Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician programCERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:PHRMTECHR-Registered Pharmacy TechnicianOR PHARMT-Pharmacy TechnicianOR PHARMC-Certified Pharmacy TechnicianOR PHARMI-Pharmacy InternTYPICAL EXPERIENCE:4 years recent relevant experience.Job Shift:

$39.62 to $49.52 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
