They assess patient conditions, make differential diagnoses, and formulate treatment plans.Treatment Planning and Management : NPs develop and implement treatment plans for patients, which may include prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, providing therapies, and offering patient education. They collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, specialists, and allied health providers, to ensure coordinated care.Health Promotion and Disease Prevention : Nurse practitioners prioritize preventive care by promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention strategies. They educate patients about preventive measures, such as vaccinations, screenings, and lifestyle modifications, to optimize health outcomes and minimize the risk of chronic diseases.Patient Education and Counseling : NPs play a vital role in patient education, providing information about medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
