DevOps CI/CD Lead Engineer, VP

is a senior level position responsible for leading a variety of engineering activities to drive adoption of all strategic automation capabilities including CI/CD, Infra-As-Code, and Self-Service Capability to empower developers across North America (NAM). This person will also help deliver & increase the adoption of modern ways of working, enhanced ability to increase release frequency, and Continuous Delivery CI/CD adoption.Responsibilities :Primarily involved in DevOps Automation & Tools adoption activities including Jira, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, RLM, and Harness for NAM applications to achieve CI/CD automation.Continuous improvement and productivity savings across all LOBs like Digital, Cards, US Retail, CRS, and REL.Drive automation technology solutions and future roadmaps along with implementation and execution plans.Drive adoption of Technology automation and CI/CD with respect to Global Consumer Banking Core, Digital & Payments domains across all channels.Responsible for working with the application development teams in NAM Core, Digital & Payments platforms to accelerate and drive CI/CD implementation, rollout, and adoption.Develop automation adoption roadmap strategy with stages, deadlines, and goals with an end vision to obtain DevOps to NoOps journey.Help deliver increased adoption of modern ways of working, enhanced ability to increase release frequency, and CI/CD adoption.Understand technology industry trends, how they impact platform automation future solutions, and provide strategic direction.Partner with Application development, Engineering, and other DevOps teams to understand the solution and drive the adoption strategy.Drive innovation activities within the group, and come up with new technologies, capabilities, and solutions that can increase product adoption and user satisfaction levels.Support CI/CD pipelines related issues faced by consumers. This role is the 1st & 2nd level of support for CI/CD tools.Qualifications :6+ relevant years in CI/CD experience.Minimum 8+ years of experience in DevOps technology tools and automation capabilities.Experience in DevOps tools - Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Artifactory, RLM, LightSpeed, Tekton, SonarQube & Harness.Ability to lay out roadmaps, implementation, and rollout plans to adopt automation capabilities like CI/CD pipeline.Experience of Cloud-native architectures ideally using OpenShift.Ability to influence application development and test organizations to adopt DevOps automation.Experience with Spring Framework, Angular, SOAP web services, RESTful APIs, Spring Boot, and PCF.Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent verbal & written communication, interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this position.Team player, willing to work extra hours, including weekends on an as-needed basis with relatively short notice to meet deliverables.Willing to coach, mentor, collaborate with other team members and continue to foster a positive progressive work environment.Education :Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred.This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
