Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced kitchen, bath, and closet sales associate/designer to work in our retail showroom. The designer will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cultivating sales and relationships, designing kitchen, bath, and closet spaces, working within our CRM system, and managing projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivating sales and relationships through the use of in person network events, cold calls, showroom leads, and more.
Provide exceptional customer service by listening to clients' needs, offering design solutions, and providing product recommendations.
Create detailed design plans and 3D renderings using design software.
Sell kitchen and bath products, including cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and accessories, to customers.
Collaborate with management and other internal personnel to provide accurate product information, pricing, and availability to clients.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, builders, and developers to drive sales growth.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to offer the latest design options and solutions.
Attend trade shows and events to expand knowledge and stay informed about new product releases and design trends.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initial design concept to installation.
Provide regular reports to management on project status, sales performance, and customer feedback.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety and security, as well as brand guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school degree or GED equivalent required– Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years of sales experience
2+ years of experience in kitchen, bath, and/or closet design, preferably in a retail showroom setting.
Preferred experience in design softwares such as Prokitchen, 2020, or similar.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, architects, builders, and designers.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of kitchen, bath, and closet products and industry trends.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Positive attitude, a passion for design, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
