About the team:
C2FO's Accounting team is a small, but ambitious team of accounting professionals taking on the world, literally. With our ever-expanding global footprint, the team is currently overseeing entities in 10 countries, responsible for maintaining company books, financial reporting and analysis, budget, annual audits, taxes, and other compliance.
About the Accounting Manager:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing compliance with ASC 606 to ensure proper revenue recognition, reviewing customer contracts and amendments, preparing billing for upfront fees, calculating Dynamic Supplier Finance invoice calculations, recording commission expense, and various month end duties. Additionally, this position will assist in improving the processes within the Revenue Team as we continue to strengthen internal controls and processes for the team.

About the Accounting Manager:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing compliance with ASC 606 to ensure proper revenue recognition, reviewing customer contracts and amendments, preparing billing for upfront fees, calculating Dynamic Supplier Finance invoice calculations, recording commission expense, and various month end duties. Additionally, this position will assist in improving the processes within the Revenue Team as we continue to strengthen internal controls and processes for the team.
Essential Duties:
- Manage compliance of ASC 606 to ensure proper recognition of revenue and contract costs.
- Assist with managing revenue policy for all revenue streams and advising on the accounting implications on non-standard financial terms and modifications to sales contracts.
- Serve as a point of contact for sales and account management teams as they are working on new and renewal contracts.
- Review customer contracts and amendments for revenue recognition implications and maintain accounting records.
- Prepare billings for new and reoccurring upfront fees, properly record in NetSuite, and maintain deferral schedule.
- Assist with calculation of monthly Dynamic Supplier Finance invoices each month.
- Assist with month end close procedures.
- Support internal and external audits, including oversight of deliverables.
- Ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement of processes.
- Ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented business environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Auditing
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP revenue recognition guidance, including ASC 606
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced evolving environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks
- Must be able to work and participate in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA preferred
- Previous experience with NetSuite
