Essential Job Functions
The Bay Area office is seeking an Attorney Engagement Coordinator as a member of the Legal Recruiting and Development department. This individual will provide support for the processes, programming and overall functioning of the engagement channel with the goal of creating an irresistible, best-in-class workplace for the Firm's attorneys .
The position will closely collaborate with the Senior Manager of Attorney Engagement and local leadership to implement and advance various initiatives related to (i) attorney integration, (ii) attorney onboarding, (iii) morale, retention and employee engagement, (iv) attorney mentoring, (v) affinity group events and programming and all diversity, equity and inclusion ("DEI") activities, (vi) attorney wellness check-ins, (vii) Associates Committee and (viii) associate departures.

- Coordinate implementation of a standard of excellence around attorney morale and retention initiatives
- Administer and maintain engagement policies, operational procedures and practices consistent with the goals and objectives of the Firm and the office
- Guide new hire and lateral integration programs to effectively integrate and appropriately support new attorneys in Bay Area.
- Coordinate attorney onboarding and orientation, including developing integration plans for new attorneys focused on professional development, networking, mentoring and engagement and overseeing 30-, 60- and 90-day check-ins
- Coordinate with local practice groups to plan and execute practice group integration events and initiatives
- In collaboration with the Firmwide Director of Wellbeing and the Firmwide Attorney Engagement teams, execute strategic wellness check-in plans with associates to address matters of concern and minimize attrition
- Liaise with and support local Diversity Committee and DEI Professional Networks , including WLI. Coordinate local DEI initiatives, annual programming, and events in collaboration with FW Diversity & Inclusion, local Diversity Committee and DEI Professional Networks
- Collaborate with LRD campus team to plan and execute DEI Professional Networks events during the summer associate program
- Liaise with and support local Associates Committee
- Assist with planning and executing a robust internal mentoring program
- Provide logistical support for engagement events and programs. Track engagement events and initiatives
- Assist with exit interviews and data collection, including year-end reporting

Qualifications & Requirements
Education, Work Experience, Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in similar setting, law firm or professional services preferred
- High level of collaboration and the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills including excellent proofing and communication (oral and written) abilities
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a very strong attention to detail and a professional demeanor
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments and offices to achieve results
- Ability to work overtime, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines
- Technical experience should include the Microsoft Office Suite; Proficiency in Excel required.
